Open Question: I need help selling this to my parents!!?

I am really close to getting a facebook but my dad isnt sold on the idea. My mom is okay with it she just needs to convince my dad. that is usually the hardest part because he doesnt see the need for it. I need some ideas on how to convince him to let me have one.
